Your First Visit at Our Mesa Office

Great dental health is our passion at Gilbert Road Dental Care! There is no reason to be overwhelmed by a first dental visit at our Mesa dental office. We make it easy for new patients here by putting your concerns to rest.  We aim to please at your first dental visit and that each following visit will be comfortable and positive.

What to Expect

To identify any possible conditions that may be present, including tooth decay and periodontal disease, Dr. Quin Gardner will perform a complete dental exam. A consultation about the findings and any treatment recommendations will follow the examination.

If it is necessary, we may also clean your teeth during your first visit. Alternatively, we might schedule you for a follow-up appointment depending on the condition of your teeth, gums and overall oral health.

Our patients under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or adult guardian. The first appointment at Gilbert Road Dental Care will take between an hour and an hour-and-a-half.

What to Bring

There are a few things you should bring with you, to help make your visit as pleasant and brief as possible.

Please bring your X-rays if your previous dentist performed dental x-rays during the last six months.  We would love for you to bring these to your first appointment. However, if you do not have your x-rays, or do not have a recent x-ray, our staff will take a new set.

Please fill out the few simple forms to the right of the page. They are important since they provide us with your relevant medical history, a list of your current medications, your dental history, and information about your insurance coverage. You can fill out these forms digitally and submit them or you can download, print, and fill them out to bring to the office for your visit. This way, you are already on your way to having a great first dental visit!
